Partridge Chantacler

The Partridge Chantacler originated in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada using Partridge Wyandottes, Partridge Cochins, Dark Cornish and Rose Comb Brown Leghorns. Partridge Chantacler chicks are primarily dark brown, with light brown on their back, wings, face, chest and abdomen. They have cushion combs and clean, yellow legs and feet. Adult males have greenish black plumage with red lacing on the back, saddle and hackle feathers. Their breast, sickle and tail feathers are also greenish black, while their head, upper back and wing bows are primarily red. Adult females have hackle and wing feathers that are black, while most of the remaining plumage is reddish bay with some black penciling.
